KRE Security, LLC is seeking an experienced Armed Security Officer for a per diem assignment in Camp Hill, PA. This position is ideal for professionals looking for flexible, high-paying shifts while gaining experience in a structured, professional environment.
If you hold a current ACT 235 certification and have prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience, this is an excellent opportunity to work day shifts with strong supervisory support.
Schedule
- Per diem shifts – primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- No nights, weekends, or rotating shifts required
- Hours may vary; overtime available when applicable
- Flexible scheduling allows you to pick shifts based on your availability
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional armed security presence
- Conduct routine foot and mobile patrols
- Monitor access points and overall site conditions
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports (Belfry Software)
- Enforce post orders and client policies
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and fellow officers
Requirements
- Current ACT 235 certification (required)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass background check
- Required in-person orientation prior to assignment
Pay & Benefits
- $27.00/hour (site-specific rate)
- +$0.25/hour for military veterans and active-duty service members
- Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week (if applicable)
