KRE Security, LLC is actively seeking professional, dependable Armed and Unarmed Event Security Officers to support a wide range of events throughout the Harrisburg region, including festivals, concerts, corporate functions, and community gatherings. This role is ideal for individuals who are alert, customer-focused, and capable of maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a visible security presence to deter and respond to incidents
- Monitor entrances, exits, and crowd activity
- Check credentials and control access points as needed
- Respond promptly to disturbances, emergencies, or safety concerns
- Coordinate with event staff, local authorities, and emergency services when necessary
- Write clear and accurate incident reports
- Deliver excellent customer service while enforcing event policies
Qualifications:
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Reliable transportation to event locations in the Harrisburg area
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required
- Armed positions require proper certification/licensing
- Valid guard card/license (if required by Pennsylvania law) or willingness to obtain
