Security Officer
Client Site in Reading, PA
Shifts Available:
Full-time Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
Job Site is Temporary, with additional opportunities upon completion of assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional security presence at assigned client site
- Patrol premises, monitor access points, and report safety or security concerns
- Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports via Belfry Software
- Respond to emergencies and enforce site policies and procedures
- Maintain communication with clients, supervisors, and fellow officers
- Follow all company and site-specific security protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and work in various environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Flexible availability for shifts that vary by client needs
- All candidates must possess PSP Patch, Childline, and FBI Fingerprints for School Employees
- Required to attend an in-person orientation prior to being scheduled for any shifts
- Military veterans and active duty members receive an additional $0.25/hour bonus
Compensation
Overtime: Paid for any hours over 40 hours per week, weighted according to applicable law
Full-Time (30+ hours/ week): Health Benefits after 60 days.
Paid Time Off: 40 hours earned after the probationary period is satisfied
